Thanks for being here with us! In this episode we cover companionship. It’s a beautiful thing that shouldn’t be abused, or mixed with Voodoo apparently. Both of these films show how companionship can go terribly and amazingly wrong. We get deep into the original Childs Play (1988) where Chucky became the horror icon he is today. We talk a lot about the behind the scenes geniuses for Chucky. In a world before digital FX these guys, Kevin Yahger and crew, were rock stars. Our companion film (see what I did there) is Companion (2025) the first feature film from writer and TV director Drew Hancock. Starring Sophie Thatcher and Jack Quaid.
